Date Added: 02/09/2010 Location: Steamboat Springs, CO Description: 4 miles north of Steamboat Springs on Routt County Road #36 (Strawberry Park Road), then 8 miles east on Routt County Road #38 (Buffalo Pass Road). Even though the campground is only 12 miles from town it takes about 45 minutes to an hour to get there due to rough roads.Elevation: 10,300 feet.

This campground is open from approximately Memorial Day Weekend throught September 15. The overnight camping fee is $12.00. This campground has 13 campsites with tables and fireplace grates, a handpump, 2 vault toilets, 1 dumpster, back-in and pull-through trailer spaces (up to 40 feet) as well as tent camping. Hinman is a scenic campground with stream fishing, hiking and biking nearby.
