Natchez Trace Parkway - As a result of the adverse, wintery weather conditions, the Natchez Trace Parkway has issued a travelers advisory for sections of Parkway in Tennessee and Colbert & Lauderdale Counties in Alabama.

Fire Island National Seashore - Fire Island National Seashore is offering several night sky programs this February and March. Snow closes park facilities today

Mammoth Cave National Park - Superintendent Patrick Reed announced that most park facilities closed at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday because of conditions caused by a winter storm.  Turnhole Bend is closed, as well as Flint Ridge Road and Houchin Ferry Road.

Timberlake to get pudding pot from Harvard

Multifaceted entertainer Justin Timberlake is coming to Harvard University to be honored as the Hasty Pudding Man of the Year.

The Grammy and Emmy award winner will receive his pudding pot from the nation's oldest undergraduate drama troupe at a roast scheduled for Friday.

Hasty Pudding Theatricals said the singer, songwriter, actor and producer was selected because he's "one of pop culture's most influential entertainers."

2MB: Summit Lake Campground Host

Date Added: 02/09/2010 Location: Steamboat Springs, CO Description: 4 miles north of Steamboat Springs on Routt County Road #36 (Strawberry Park Road), then 8 miles east on Routt County Road #38 (Buffalo Pass Road). Even though the campground is only 12 miles from town it takes about 45 minutes to an hour to get there due to rough roads.

Elevation: 10,300 feet.

Water is NOT available at Summit Lake campground. We do have a water tank that we can haul water in for you to use. This campground generally opens in mid-July and closes around the end of Septemb...

2MB: Hinman Park Campground Host

Date Added: 02/09/2010 Location: Steamboat Springs, CO Description: Hinman campground is located 26 miles north of Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

Elevation: 7,600 feet.

This campground is open from approximately Memorial Day Weekend throught September 15. The overnight camping fee is $12.00. This campground has 13 campsites with tables and fireplace grates, a handpump, 2 vault toilets, 1 dumpster, back-in and pull-through trailer spaces (up to 40 feet) as well as tent camping. Hinman is a scenic campground with stream fishing, hiking and biking nearby.
